
AA traffic monitor shows A1079 at Barmby Moor has reopened after traffic collision.
The A1079 York Road had been closed by police at Barmby Moor, near to Pocklington after a road traffic collision.
Humberside Police reported the road closures on social media at 12.24pm: "SCI attending serious RTC A1079 Barmby Moor. Road closed in both directions. Diversions in place."

Humberside Police have confirmed that the road has now opened to traffic but have asked motorists to proceed with care as the affected vehicle is awaiting recovery.

AA reports of heavy traffic due to crash
The AA's traffic monitor reported the crash on the A1079 close to Barmby Moor at 11.34am and says "Road closed and heavy traffic due to crash on A1079 Gale Hill both ways between Lotting's Lane and Sutton Lane."
