New Omicron grant scheme launched for East Riding hospitality businesses

Businesses can apply on the council website

The East Riding Council have launched a new Government grant scheme which will be available to East Riding businesses that have been impacted the most by Omicron.

The grant will be available to hospitality, leisure and accommodation businesses with one-off grants available of up to £6,000.

Businesses wishing to apply for the grant must occupy a property which is registered for business rates and was trading on 30 December 2021.

To apply, businesses must use the online application form on the council's website, as the Government has requested councils obtain information and evidence from these eligible businesses. These applications will then undergo a fraud check.

Examples of businesses that are eligible to apply for this grant include public houses, restaurants, cafes, wedding and events venues, tourist attractions, hotels, B&Bs and many more.

The deadline for applications is 6 February 2022.
